Murder of Crows

An Episode of "Modern Family". Phil Dunphy played by the talented Ty Burrell finds himself guilt ridden because his robotic gutter cleaner accidentally destroyed a crow's nest and killed its young ones. At an evening party later that day , he is explaining that he accidentaly killed " a bunch of little crows". He is corrected by a Manny(  Rico Rodriguez) that actually its "a murder of crows". The use of this kind of subtle yet cryptic wordplay is the mark of this show. Creative and "you will miss it the first time" jokes are done with panache and simplicity with actors doing justice to the amazing script.

Some collective nouns for animals and Birds:

A Murder of Crows
A Pride of Lions
A School of Fish
A Streak f Tigers
A Parliament of Owls( No we know the problem... hmmm)
A Lounge of Lizards.

When will I die?

Just a sad kind of fun..I saw "Jakob the Liar" a few days ago.. Robin Williams in a role which is of some what different complexion. The comic side of the movie runs quite close to sadness. The movie though starts with a voiceover.."Hitler goes to a fortune-teller and asks, "When will I die?" And the fortune-teller replies, "On a Jewish holiday." Hitler then asks, "How do you know that?" And she replies, "Any day you die will be a Jewish holiday."
and so the movie begins..
